Beschreibung:
Die T.S. ATLANTIC ist eine Zweimast-Gaffelketch aus dem Jahre 1871. Sie wurdeals Bereisungsschiff für den späteren Kaiser Wilhelm II bei der "Norddeutschen Schiffbau AG" in Kiel-Gaarden gebaut. Im Laufe ihrer Jahre diente sie als Frachtensegler im Ostseeraum, wurde im 2. Weltkrieg von einem Offizier der Reichsarmee gekauft, der sie unter dem Namen "SS-Vorwärts" als persönliches Fluchtschiff nutzen wollte. 1952 wurde die T.S. ATLANTIC von der Firma Biomaris gekauft und als Seewassertanker vor Helgoland eingesetzt. Der jetzige Eigner kaufte das Schiff 1982, brachte es nach Bremen-Vegesack und restaurierte es liebevoll bis 1989. Seither segelt es auf Nord- und Ostsee mit Chatergästen. Dafür besitzt die T.S. ATLANTIC eine genehmigung der Seeberufsgenossenschaft für bis zu 39 Tagesgästen.

The current owner converted her as a gaff rigged charter vessel from 1982-1989. She has official permission for 39 guests for day charter and 10 guests for longer trips.
